Katies adorable husband bought her a Pin Up shoot for Christmas. LAST YEAR! We honestly were beginning to wonder if this would ever happen. Covid launched itself on the scene, and like everyone else, anything but essential business was put on hold. Also Katie was coming up from Dunedin for this shoot so we were starting to despair that between a global pandemic and conflicting schedules, that this was fast heading for the very hard basket! Working with Miss Victory Violet for The Nylon Swish we shot two gorgeous robes. The black sparkly robe is just gorgeous. So decadent and glamorous, and don’t we all need a bit of that in our lives these days!!

Lola Fondãnt and I worked together on the weekend and did her maternity shoot. We were both so pleased to be able to do the shoot because when we went into lock down it looked as though any photo shoots were off the cards for a long time. However as New Zealand all pulled together and did lock down properly we have been able to get back to some normality now. So we decided an in home session would be perfect! A little something to brighten up your Wednesday. That day of the week when I'm always saying "What day is it today?" Just a handful of my beautiful clients that I am so lucky to have photographed. Hey Everyone Im back! Well Iv'e been back for ages actually, but its taken a while to get back into the swing of social media again! We were lucky enough to get away for five days over the New Year with my husband's family to the absolutely stunning Matarangi... It was a fabulous and really special time, the weather was suberb, and this was our view! I'll be posting a couple of images from a shoot that Miss Victory Violet and I managed to do between Christmas and New Year.... As always, its an absolute pleasure to work with this beautiful human and friend! We had a wee chat about plans for the year, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements for shoots and tours! Im shooting again for Holi Boli Fashionz when Ana comes over from India with the new range at the end of the month. Congratulations Sally-Anne Harris for her win in the Miss Southern Belle pageant in Christchurch at the weekend at Rockabilly Show & Shine! And also to Vienna de Havilland in placing Runner Up. Another special mention to Miss Retro Rebel who was also in the pageant, and from what I saw knocked it out of the park! I'm so proud of all of them! I wish I could have been there but had a prior commitment. Next time though! This is the reason I do this! Rachel was understandably nervous when I first met her when I did the Wellington shoots. After all we had never met before and this was her first time like this in front of the camera. So when she booked a second time for the Auckland shoots the day before The Very Vintage Day Out , I was thrilled. Rachel is truly a beautiful person. Inside and out.
